Honorarium Wins Pilot with Sun Devil Athletics and $20K
April 27, 2023 - The ASU Global Sports Institute alongside the AZ Coyotes, the Oak View Group and Invision AZ hosted the 3rd annual Sports Venture Challenge at Arizona State University on April 26, 2023.
The ASU Global Sports Institute venture challenge is a launch pad for aspiring entrepreneurs and helps establish new and innovative sport concepts that can be launched, piloted, and scaled at Sun Devil Athletics' various facilities. Selected entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the venture challenge to compete for funding and resources to launch their ideas with Sun Devil Athletics.

Mantis creates scalable, direct-to-consumer experiential solutions through integration with existing fan engagement platforms without the requirement for additional hardware or software downloads.
On Wednesday night, CEO Kayte Malik pitched center ice at the Mullet Ice arena. Honorarium received $20,000 in non-dilutive grant funding and a pilot with Sun Devils Athletics. The team is beyond excited to be working with such an epic sports program. This will be the first PAC-12 school Honorarium works with. Work on the pilot will kick off soon.
Brave Virtual Worlds was named the honorable mention winning a pilot with Sun Devils athletics and Dibz took home $40K in non-dilutive grant funding a pilot with ASU as well.
