Anthony has been an asset to the Georgia Southern football team since his freshman year. In the 2020-21 season, Anthony played in 12 games and started in 11. He was an honorable mention in the All-Sun Belt Conference selection with a total of 67 sacks, an interception, and 7 pass break ups. His 721 snaps on defense and 56 on special teams has made him a defensive weapon on the field.
In his sophomore year, Wilson was a third team All-Sun Belt selection. Anthony started in all 12 games totaling 793 snaps. Wilson also led the team with 78 tackles where he had 4.5 tackles for loss.
So far this season, Wilson has had more tackles in each game than his previous, totaling up to 23 in 4 games. Throughout his entire collegiate career, Anthony has continuously shown his knack for improvement, and it’s clearly on display this season. With his monstrous start, we are excited to see how the rest of the 2022-23 season pans out for Anthony and the Eagles.
